Use this lens when a roadmap lacks clarity, priorities conflict, or execution pressure is rising.
Don't speed past the questions. Answering them is the work.

What problem are we actually solving?

Not the loudest one. Not the trendiest one. The one that is quietly costing time, money, or trust.

Is this a strategy call or an execution move?

Strategy shifts direction. Execution creates momentum. Confuse the two and you will solve the wrong layer.

What does success look like in 30 days and in 6 months?

And who decides that? Alignment beats aspiration.

4.

What is the least we can do to validate the path forward?

AI can move fast. You don't need to. Test smarter, not louder.

Are we solving from clarity or reacting from urgency?

Urgency often signals unclear scope or misaligned incentives. Diagnose that before acting.

6.

What is driving this decision: outcomes, optics, or ownership?

Be honest. Are we optimizing for real value or just trying not to get blamed?

7.

What happens if we do nothing?

Inaction has operational cost, even if it is not tracked directly in tools.

8.

Are we using AI as a shortcut or a signal booster?

AI should compress exploration time, not replace reasoning. If it generates answers before the problem is defined, it accelerates noise.
